Archery practices
No equipment is necessary as we have some loaner gear to get you started.
When:
Every Sunday (weather permitting)
10 A.M. - Noonish
ARCHERY at NEWPORT NEWS PARK
Where:
Newport News Park (Camping entrance)
Jefferson Ave or Rt 143
Take exit 250B off I64 and take a left
Go across the reservoir and take the next right.
Archery range is a short walk into the woods across from the Ranger Station.
Requirments:
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Newport News requires that archers take a safety class offered at least twice every month.
Phone the ranger station for dates and times of class. (888-3333)
Please sign in and out at the ranger station.
Cost:
$1.00 per day (to Newport News Park) or
purchase an Annual Permit card $10.00
